Established in 1634 by the Minim friars in Munich, Paulaner is one of the six breweries that provide beer for Oktoberfest, the German beer festival dating from 1810.  The naturally cloudy Hefe-Weizen is the brewery’s best-selling product with its golden body and fruity, mild flavor. Paulaner also brews the Munich Premium Lager, a golden blond, full-bodied and slightly hoppy beer, the golden, bottom-fermented Oktoberfest Marzen, and the founding Paulaner beer, the Salvator Double Bock.
